Commissions are personal client projects that are to be worked on a non-specified timeline.
They are to be completed in the order received

Pro-Commissions are on a specific timeline to be negotiated on a case by case basis.** These take precedence over regular commissions an additional 25-45% fee is required. (depending on when the piece needs to be completed)

Refunds

If a phase has been paid for and not been completed in 3 months, a complete refund will be given. The 3 month timeframe begins after payment is received.
If the client elects to pay the for the entirety in advance, the 3 month period starts after the last approval was given.
If the client elects not to pay for a phase, work ceases and the artist and client are free to use produced materials however they see fit.

What kinds of commissions are you offering?

Digital
( single character, simple background) $200

These commissions are digital only
Complex background additional $100
*additional characters cost extra email for quote

Traditional
( single character, simple background) $200 + $20 for shipping

These commissions are Black and White Ink-marker on Strathmoore bristol paper. Size of commission goes from 9x12 inch up to 11x17 and vary in price.

Commissions Have 3 Stages

once work has started, no refund can be given for that stage.

Sketch Stage
cost $35

If you have a specific pose in mind please tell me before hand, otherwise I ask an additional $25 for additional sketches!

Rough Stagecost half total fee ( sketch fee is included)

This stage the piece is refined to a more solid concept for your approval! If the image is missing any concepts, they must have been in prior emails/dm's otherwise an additional fee may be required if substantial re-working must be done ( this is very rare basically never happens ;)Note: if there is a detail that I have missed in a previous email, no matter how substantial, I will absolutely correct it at no cost to the client!!

Finishing Stage
cost 2nd half of total payment is due

At this stage the piece should be either done, or only requiring minor edits to be complete. This is the final stage of editing that can be done, one round of minor edits is included, any additional substantial work the client would like done will have to be renegotiated with payment. ( again, this is very very rare)

The client and I have equal creative rights to any piece of art they have commissioned.Clients are entitled to:

  • sell prints

  • use art in "for profit" projects

  • (if traditional) sell piece with nothing owed to the artist

  • allow others to use the piece as they see fit

  • post the image online as they see fit

As the Artist I am allowed the same rights plus I'm allowed to:

  • use the art to make online content (youtube videos, tictok, educational videos)

  • sell other art made from said work or used as a base

FAQ:
Question 1 :Why are you working on 3 at a time?
Answer : If someone can't get back to me I need to be making progress on something. It is extremely common to send someone an update and not hear back from them for 2-3 days. I can completely understand, we all have lives, but I have to maximize what time I have.Question 2 : why does your work take so long it seems like you do sketches quickly.Answer: sketches and commissions are not the same thing. Commissions have multiple stages of approvals, which drags the art making and creative process out exponentially. On top of that I have a shop to run, and orders to fill and I'm only 1 person at this stage.Question 3: What is the deal with Pro-Commissions?Answer: It's happened in the past that some clients demand a premium on my time wile paying the same price as everyone else. IMO you cannot ask both things at once. If you want to be the only project I'm focusing on- compensation should be in order.
